SHEAVE UNIT

PURPOSE: To eliminate a exclusive lifting rod which could interfere with transferring of an object to be carried, by providing a lifting pin for a sheave unit, utilizing the pin and pulling up the unit through a lifting fixture, in transferring the object to be carried with the sheave unit installed under a floor. CONSTITUTION: To transfer an object to be carried in the water from an unable work area to an enable work area for workers in an atomic power plant or the like, a sheave unit 25 moves a transferring cart placed on it through wire rope or the like by operating a motor-driven hoist on an operating floor 9. To return the unit 25 to the enable work area for inspecting or replacing the unit, a lifting fixture 1 is provided for the unit 25. The fixture 1 is constituted of a counter weight 2, a clamping mechanism and so on. The clamping mechanism 3 is connected to a lifting pin 10 on the unit 25 by the operation with a dedicated tool 8. The sheave unit 25 is lifted together with the fixture 1 through a chain block 7.
