Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To efficiently reduce and remove nitrogen oxide from a waste combustion gas containing oxygen equal to above the theoretical quantity of reaction with a unburnt portion of nitrogen oxide, carbon monoxide, hydrogen, hydrocarbon or the like and containing sulfur oxide and moisture. CONSTITUTION: A 1st catalyst made by depositing 0.2-15wt.% (expressed in terms of metal element) equal to above one kind of an element and/or a compound selected from a group composed of silver and silver compounds on a porous inorganic oxide and a 2nd catalyst made by depositing 0.5-30wt.% (expressed in terms of metal element) equal to above one kind of an element and/or a compound selected from a group composed of nickel and nickel compounds on a porous inorganic oxide are mixed with each other.
