DUST COLLECTOR

PURPOSE: To heighten the cyclone efficiency, to effectively separate dust, and to miniaturize whole equipment by spraying water by a nozzle from below to the center of a water distribution board installed above a centrifugal dust collecting mechanism to scatter fine water droplets and mixing air introduced into the dust collecting mechanism with them. CONSTITUTION: In a dust collector X, a dust collecting mechanism A of centrifugal type (cyclone) is installed in the center thereof, and in the center of the dust collecting mechanism A, a nozzle pipe C having a nozzle (n) for spraying use water W is arranged. The nozzle pipe C has such a constitution that the use water W in a tank T arranged below the dust collecting mechanism A is sprayed to a rotary water distribution board 2 installed above the dust collecting mechanism A and rotated by a motor M. While by taking in dust containing gas (a) from an inlet 1 and rotating the rotary water distribution board 2, the surroundings of an inner cylinder B are subjected to centrifugal motion as shown by the arrows a.1 , a2 , a3 , a4 , a5 ,..., the cyclone efficiency is heightened to effectively separate dust in the dust containing gas (a).
