SOLUTION: This dental glass composition has the following formulation (based on the oxide percentage by weight): 50-57% of SiO2 , 5-30% of ZrO2 , 0-5% of Li2 O, 0-25% of Na2 O, 0-25% of K2 O where the total of the alkali oxides is 0-25%. This glass further contains 0-10% of fluorine, 0-5% of MgO, 0-5% of TiO2 , 0-10% of Al2 O3 , GeO2 , P2 O5 , La2 O3 , Y2 O3 , Ta2 O3 , Gd2 O3 and Nb2 O5 , respectively.
