PINCH ROLLER

PURPOSE: To reduce the cost and weight and also to make an inclination of the pinch roller to a pinch roller shaft allowable by applying a sliding bearing to the pinch roller for its bearing. CONSTITUTION: One pair of sliding bearings 4 are arranged in approximately the middle of the pinch roller 1 in the axial direction with a clearance (t) to a pinch roller shaft 6, thus imparting an automatic aligning operation. Then, these sliding bearings 4 have chamfered parts 4a on shaft hole end parts, and by abutting end surfaces having these chamfered parts against each other, a groove 8 is formed for the purpose of accumulating worn particles or filling with a lubricant.
