METHOD AND DEVICE FOR RECORDING/REPRODUCING OPTICAL INFORMATION

PURPOSE: To reduce the circuit scale in an optical information recording/ reproducing system recording/reproducing information by using two or more of light spots. CONSTITUTION: An information mark is recorded on a prescribed grid point of an optical information recording medium by laser light irradiation, and the optical change according to the presence of the information mark is detected using at least two or more of the light spots 101a, b, c, and the information is reproduced. A clock synchronizing with rotation is generated only on one spot by a synchronizing clock generation means, and a timing shift amount between the spots is learned on the device, and the phase of the clock is corrected by correction circuits 107, 108 based on the timing shift amount obtained by the result of the learning, and the remaining clock for spot is generated.
