INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE

PURPOSE: To provide a mechanism of constitution wherein output conversion is usefully effected by a method wherein an output generated by explosion and expansion is fetched as simple rotation circular motion of a partition wall mounted on a rotor on an output shaft. CONSTITUTION: When a compression rotor 6 is driven in the direction of an arrow mark in a Fig. (c), in a space formed between a fixed partition wall 6-2 and a rotary partition wall 9, a negative pressure on the space A side is generated and air-fuel mixture is sucked through an intake hole 14, the volume of the space B side is reduced to compression air-fuel mixture, which is fed in the air hole 6-1 of the rotor 6. When, in a space formed in Fig. (a) between the fixed partition wall 5-3 on an output rotor 5 and the rotary partition wall 10, pressurized air-fuel mixture is injected through an air hole 5-2 on the space C side and ignited and exploded by means of an ignition plug 17, an output rotor 5 is driven in the direction of an arrow mark. In the space D side, a volume is contracted and through communication with an exhaust hole 15, operation is advanced to a scavenging process. Rotation drive torque generated in Fig (a) is fetched as an output to the outside from an output shaft formed integrally with the output rotor 5.
