Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To provide a polyester resin producible at a low cost, easily bakable at a high temperature in a short time, resulting in high adhesivity between the coating film and the coating substrate, giving a coated product having excellent retort resistance and processability and usable as a powder coating suitable for the coating of food can, drink can, etc. CONSTITUTION: This polyester resin for can-coating powder coating material having an intrinsic viscosity of 0.1-0.25dl/g and an acid value of 1,000-3,000geq/10 g is composed of an acid component composed mainly of an aromatic dicarboxylic acid and a diol component composed mainly of a bisphenol A adduct added with 2-6mol of ethylene oxide and/or propylene oxide and an aliphatic diol at a molar ratio of 30/70 to 100/0. This polyester resin composition for can-coating powder coating material is produced by compounding the polyester with an epoxy-based curing agent.
