Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To obtain a polyethylene sheet with a laminated primer which has a good shape retention property and is free from heat deformation by heating the surface of a primer applied on the polyethylene sheet with a hot roll and cooling the back of the sheet with a water-cooling roll. CONSTITUTION: In the production of a polyethylene sheet 1, first a primer 2 for polyethylene is applied on the sheet 1 with a spray 3. Next, the sheet 1 is passed between a hot roll 5 and a water-cooling roll 6 so that the surface of the applied primer 2 is brought into contact with the hot roll 5. The hot roll 5 and the water-cooling roll 6 are rotated to transfer the sheet 1. In other words, the surface of the primer 2 applied on the sheet 1 is heated, and simultaneously the back of the sheet 1 is cooled. In this way, the softening of the sheet 1 associated with heating is restricted to the surface layer, preventing the deformation of the polyethylene sheet 1.
