Data for controlling whole devices are stored in a memory T, and the data are sufficient for the remote controller 39 to remotely control all the functions of the whole devices. Then, selection is made as to which device should be controlled by remote control, remote control data for controlling the selected device are transmitted, and the transmitted data are stored in the remote controller 39. Thus, programming is performed so that the selected device can be controlled.
