METHOD AND CATV SYSTEM FOR DISTRIBUTING SIGNAL TO ENTITLED SUBSCRIBER THERETO

PURPOSE: To give access for services to terminals by making an authentication center decode enciphered event requesting codes and supply passwords to terminals. In response to the input of the password to the terminal 5, one of a plurality of signals corresponding to the sales promoting code is sent to the accessing terminal 5.
