Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To adaptively recognize a natural body, etc., whose simple regularity is not found, concerning a system which obtains information on an object of observation from a serisor and recognizes the state (kind, position, attitude, etc.) of the object. CONSTITUTION: This system is equipped with a means 1 which outputs an estimated value of the state of the object based on observation data on the object of recognition, a means 2 which outputs an observation data predicted value of a partial feature of the object according to the output of the means 1, and a means 3 which outputs a predicted position of the partial feature according to the output of the means 1, and while the output of the means 1 is corrected corresponding to the output of the means 2 so that the difference between the output of the means 3 and the actual position of the partial feature becomes small, the object is recognized.
