INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM

PURPOSE: To surely protect data regardless of the degree of a temperature incline and to continue a job for a long time. CONSTITUTION: A detected temperature register 2 stores a detected temperature detected by a temperature sensor 1 by the instruction signal of an interval timer 5 and the detected temperature register 3 stores the detected temperature detected in a previous time by the temperature sensor 1 by the instruction signal of the interval timer 5. A subtractor 6 calculates the temperature incline from the values of the respective detected temperature registers 2 and 3 and a multiplier 9 calculates the product of the temperature incline and shut-down time. An adder 10 obtains a predicted temperature at the time of shut-down processing completion from the multiplied result of the multiplier 9 and the value of the detected temperature register 2. A comparator 13 compares the predicted temperature with a dangerous temperature, and when the predicted temperature exceeds the dangerous temperature, that effect is outputted through an AND circuit 16 to a shut-down activation circuit 17 and a shut-down processing is activated.
