Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: To prevent characters from becoming invisible at the time of changing display colors of a screen by considering that characters become invisible totally when a character color and a background color are the same color at the time of changing the character color and the background color of the screen in a color display. CONSTITUTION: In a Japanese word processor provided with a CPU 10, a keyboard 20, a RAM 30, a ROM 40 and a display part 50, when an instruction for changing of display colors is performed after color selections for setting respective colors of the character color and the background color, a decision whether the selected character color and the selected background color are the same color or similar colors is performed and the changing of colors is made effective only in the case colors are not the same color in the result of the decision.
