Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of a catalytic converter for reducing NOx components in exhaust gas of a self-igniting internal combustion engine using reducing catalytic converter. SOLUTION: A metering device for the supply of reducing agent which is additionally introduced into the exhaust gas, in the form of fuel, is arranged. A displacement pump designed to meter very small quantities is used, and which is provide with a screw passage of a helical groove 47 arranged on a cylindrical rotor 38. A rotor is driven at a variable rotational speed for changing a delivery rate.
