Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: To reduce the labor and time required by improving the sandy ground. CONSTITUTION: A pipe member 20 having at least two holes 14, 18, which is connected to a water supply source 12 and a negative pressure source, respectively, is inserted in the sandy ground 10. After the holes are thus positioned in the sandy ground, water is jetted into the sandy ground through one hole 14, and negative pressure is applied to the other hole 18 after jet of water is stopped, or extending from before the jet of water to after the jet of water. Thus, water in the sandy ground is sucked from the other hole.
