IGNITER FOR GAS GENERATOR OF PASSIVE ARRESTING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a plug and to reduce the number pf part items connecting a connecting pipe to a bridging wire rod support body, covering an ignition support body with the connecting pipe and the bridging wire rod support body, projecting an ignition charge from the ignition support body on the side to face a propellant charging cylinder and drawing the connecting pipe out on the side to trail the propellant charging cylinder. SOLUTION: An ignition support body 6 is furnished with a connecting means integrated for an ignition charge made of an initial charge 9 and a secondary charge 10, and the connecting means is made of a bridging wire rod support body 7 and a connecting pipe 8. The ignition support body 6 is covered with the connecting pipe 8 and the bridging wire rod support body 7. Additionally, a propellant charging cylinder 5 is fixed by an edge groove provided on a cylindrical extended part of the ignition support body 6 on an ignition device 1a, an outer edge of the propellant charging cylinder 5 is bent at right angles by fixing the propellant charging cylinder 5 on an ignition device 1b, and it is made fit for a step formed on this projection 13. This step formed by this bent part 14 is projectively provided on a step 15 provided on a pressure pipe 12 wall.
