Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To provide a printing starting line discriminating device, which enables a printer to print at an arbitrary line. CONSTITUTION: This device consists of a detecting means of a printing starting line designating mark and a printed starting line discriminating mark, a judging means of the printing starting line designating mark, a judging means of the printed starting line discriminating mark and a controlling means of the printing and paper feeding of a printer. Only when the judging means of the designating mark judges the presence of the printing starting line designating mark and, at the same time, the judging means of the discriminating mark judges the absence of the printed starting line discriminating mark, the controlling means outputs a printing instruction. In the other case, a paper feeding instruction is outputted.
