BEADS-SUSPENSION SEPARATING MECHANISM IN GRINDING TYPE WET MILL

PURPOSE: To keep the accurate clearance size to prevent trouble due to beads biting in a separating mechanism for separating beads and a suspension used for a grinding type wet mill by installing a slit separator having a clearance through which only the suspension is passed. CONSTITUTION: In a grinding type wet mill, the movement of beads 15 filled into a pulverizing chamber 11 between a rotor 1 and a stator 7 is used to grind a material to be pulverized. In a separating mechanism for separating the beads 15 and a suspension 16, a slit separator press piece 2 is brought into contact with a slit separator 14 formed on the upper surface of a rotary disk 12 and is installed so that it can be always pressed against the slit separator 14 by a spring 10. The slit separator 14 is constituted so that several doughnut-shaped discs 20 having such a size that a suspension pass 6 is formed between it and the rotor 1 can be piled up with spacers being put between them and is fixed by check bolts 18.
