FACSIMILE TRANSMITTING AND RECEIVING DEVICES AND FACSIMILE EQUIPMENT CONSISTING OF THESE TWO DEVICES

PURPOSE: To omit transmission of the mask data for reduction of both data quantity and data transmission time at the transmitter side and also to record and reproduce the images just by putting one on the other and with no use of the mask data at the receiver side when plural pieces of data to be put on each other and recorded at the receiver side are transmitted. CONSTITUTION: A facsimile transmitting device 3 adds a decision code into the image data to be transmitted to decide whether the subsequent data defined in a specific range are valid or invalid to be recorded and reproduced on a recording form. Then the equipment 3 sends the image data including the decision code to a communication circuit 2. A facsimile receiving equipment 4 receives the image data from the equipment 3 and extracts the decision code out of the data. Then the equipment 4 refers to the extracted code to take out only the image data to be overlapped and recorded and then to record these taken-out image data on the same recording form.
