Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a joy stick, which is improved so that shaft movement information such as a coordinate value and a feed per revolution can be checked at hand and a reset of an indicating value of the feed per revolution can be carried out at hand for providing excellent operability, for a machine tool. CONSTITUTION:In a joy stick device for a machine tool, which is provided with a tiltable stick 5 and outputs a shaft movement instruction to a controller of a machine tool according to a degree of inclination of the stick 5, indicators 11, 13, which inputs shaft movement information such as a coordinate value and a feed per revolution from the controller of the machine tool and indicates the shaft movement information, and reset switches 15, 17 resetting the indicating value of the feed per revolution are arranged in a casing 1 of the joy stick device.
