CASE FOR DIGITAL RECORDING MEDIUM

CONSTITUTION: When a moving element 124 moves in the direction shown by an arrow so as to follow the rotary motion of the lid member 123 connected to a case main body 121 by a hinge 122 by lid opening operation, the moving end of the moving element 1 also moves in the direction shown by the arrow and one end part, that is, the revolving end 4 connected to the moving element 1 of a shevron-shaped protruding piece 3 (126) also moves along the direction shown by the arrow so as to follow this movement. At this time, since the fixing end 2 of the shevron-shaped protruding piece 3 is fixed, the shevron- shaped protruding piece 3 is allowed to protrude in a shevron shape by the movement of the revolving end 4. A CD cassette case 120 is constituted by incorporating this protruding mechanism and one piece part of the shevron- shaped protruding piece 126 is utilized as a CD placing piece 125 in the CD cassette case 120.
