PROCESS MONITORING AND CONTROL DEVICE

PURPOSE: To improve the reliability of process control for a plant by preventing the malfunction when a factor for causing the malfunction of the process equipment of the plant is generated by the transmission fault of a LAN or the like. CONSTITUTION: This process monitoring and controlling device prepares data to be the NOT signals of output request data prepared in the input processing part 3 of a central processing unit 2 in the data processing part 4 of the central processing unit 2. Both data are transmitted to a controller 7, the EXOR calculation of both data is performed in the data processing part of the controller 7 and thus, the reliability of the output request data is confirmed. The output request data are outputted to the process equipment 12 when it is judged that they are reliable and it is displayed at a CRT 1 that the data are abnormal by using a data abnormality generator and a display processing part when it is judged that they are not reliable.
