WINDOW GLASS BONDING FIXTURE TO OPENING SECTION FOR AUTOMOBILE CAR-BODY WINDOW

PURPOSE: To easily remove a window pane by arranging a set bead of adhesive comprising a quick-setting synthetic substance between the internal surface of the window pane and a flange for the window pane of an aperture and installing a fixed pressure- sensitive adhesive strip between the window pane and the flange. CONSTITUTION: A respective pressure-sensitive adhesive strip 3' with the adhesive or bonding force reduced on one side is inserted among the window pane 1 of the lower corners 2, 2' of a window and the beads 4 of adhesive. The pressure-sensitive adhesive strip extends from the corners 2, 2' of the window pane along the edges 5 of the window pane 1 in each case for 60 to 120 mm at that time. When removing the window pane 1, the pressure-sensitive adhesive strips 3, 3' in these corners is easily detached without using much force from the inner edge of the window pane 1 by tilting the rest of the window pane which has been cut free. When the plastic or metallic filmy pressure-sensitive adhesive strip 3 is used, thickness of approximately 0.03-0.3 mm is required. The width of the rectangular coated surface of the pressure- sensitive adhesive on the pressure-sensitive adhesive strip 3' is set in approximately 10-50% of the adhesive strip 3', preferably approximately 15-30%.
