Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: To provide a thermal recording material excellent in the stability of color forming capacity when allowed to stand for a long period of time under a high temp. condition equal to or higher than room temp. before use. CONSTITUTION: In a thermal recording material wherein a thermal recording layer is provided on a support or the thermal recording layer is provided on the undercoat layer on the support, the color forming component of the thermal recording layer consists of an aromatic isocyanate compd. and an aromatic imino compd. reacting with the isocyanate compd. at the time of heating to form a color and a thermal reaction type aq. urethane resin is added to at least one of the undercoat layer and the thermal recording layer.
