RAINWATER STORAGE TANK WITH DAMPING FUNCTION MOUNTED ON EXTERIOR WALL

PURPOSE: To enhance a damping function against an earthquake or wind force by installing a rainwater storage tank to an exterior wall on the upper part of a building structure and providing a large water pressure to a structure side wall. CONSTITUTION: The rainwater received on a rainwater surface 1 is introduced to a settling basin 3 by way of an intake pipe 2 where the earth and sand in the rainwater is settled and a chemical is injected so that pH is controlled. After the pH is controlled, the rainwater is overflowed so that it may flow in a storage tank 4 partitioned with a bulkhead 5. A spacing of the bulkhead 5 is selected so that it may conform to the cycle of a building based on the depth of water stored on a regular basis. In case when rainwater is small and the water level is lowered, water is supplied from a supply pipe 7 so as to hold a definite water level A communication hole 6 is installed to the bottom of the bulkhead 5 so that each tank may hold the same water level while an overflow pipe 9 is also installed, thereby forming a space which causes a sloshing phenomenon.
