Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To efficiently manufacture a door lining for a motorcar composed of an upper part and a lower part with different outer surfaces at a low cost and to ensure a beautiful finish as a whole including trimming of an end of a surface material. CONSTITUTION: A lining substrate 10 is integrally composed of an upper part 11 and a lower part 12 and provided with a recessed groove 13 sectioning the parts 11, 12 on the plate surface thereof. A skin material 14 for varying an outer surface is positioned and fitted on at least the plate surface of the upper part 11 by a vacuum forming mold 20. The inner surface of the skin material 14 is press fitted into the recessed groove 13 of the lining substrate 10 by a pressing bar or a welding bar 24 and, simultaneously, the terminal end is trimmed in the recessed groove 13 by a cutting blade 26.
