Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: To estimate the sound pressure at a point remote from a noise source easily by providing an operating means for receiving an oscillation measured through a sensor and estimating the sound pressure of a sound wave propagated in the water due to oscillation of the noise source at the point remote from a noise source. CONSTITUTION: Acceleration αi of a particle measured by an oscillation sensor 20b is inputted to an oscillation/sound pressure converting section 31 where the sound pressure Pi in the vicinity of a hull is determined from the acceleration αi of particle according to a predetermined formula. The sound pressure Pi is inputted to a sound pressure estimating section 32 along with a sound pressure Pi measured directly by a sensor 20a. At the estimating section 32, the sound pressure Pr at a point remote from the hull is operated from the received sound pressure Pi by spherical wave approximation or plane wave approximation according to a predetermined formula. The spherical wave approximation or the plane wave approximation is selected depending on the dimensions of the hull, the distance between the hull and the estimating point, etc.
