PRESS

PURPOSE: To improve the dynamic precision of a press by restricting the bed from deforming caused by the pressing load. CONSTITUTION: In a press of being formed with standing members 2a to erect uprights 3 at a corner part of a bed 2 as one body with the bed 2, a reinforcing rib 2e which is positioned on the upper side of a main rib 2b of the bed 2 and installed continuously between right and left standing members is installed with projecting on the upper face of the bed 2, and a recessing groove 8a in which the reinforcing rib 2e is fitted is formed on the bottom face of a bolster 8 mounted on the bed 2 at the same time. Then, because the central part of the bed 2 being going to bend downward caused on the pressing load is restricted with the reinforcing rib, and the uprights 3 erected on the standing member 2a is prevented from falling inside, so the dynamic precision of the press is improved, and highly precise pressing can be executed.
