Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: To eastablish a ladle maintaining method, by which oxide can be removed and the maintenance can be executed to the low temp. ladle without shortening the service life of refractory in the ladle. CONSTITUTION: The stuck material 66 of slag, metal, etc., stuck to the surrounding of a pouring nozzle 65 in the ladle 50 is melted and removed with a high temp. gas burner 30 generating the high temp. flame by receiving the supplying of gas, oxygen and the air. By this method, since the high temp. gas burner is adopted, the stuck material can be melted with the heat and the production of FeO is not accompanied, and damaging degree to the refractory is small, and since the combustion is continued even in case the atmosphere is low temp., the low temp. ladle can be maintained.
