Such the upper correcting roll 3b is used, and when the biting side end part at the rail is in the condition of running onto a first lower correcting roll, the shocking load acted to the head top 5a at the local head part is not directly acted to the head top 5a, and therefore, since the local dent is reduced or the development thereof can be prevented, after roller correction, the rail can stably be produced without correcting and the productivity of the rail can remarkably be improved.
