PRESSURE SENSITIVE INPUT DEVICE

PURPOSE: To provide an input device for enabling three-dimensional information input by the two-dimensional pointing of an x-axis coordinate and a y-axis coordinate and pointing by pressure from the specified position by one operation. CONSTITUTION: In the operation of a certain system A20, movement to the pointing position of the desired x-axis coordinate an y-axis coordinate is performed and an input operation by the pressure is performed from an operation input part 101a. Pointing information and pressure information at the time of the operation are detected and signal converted in a moving amount detection part 102a and a pressure information conversion part 103a and inputted to the system A20 as the three-dimensional information of position signals 102b and pressure signals 103b. In such a manner, by simulating a familiar operation such as pushing force which is usually frequently bodily sensed and used and inputting the three-dimensional information by one operation, the operability of a computer system is improved, an efficient operation is realized and the achievement of work is improved.
