ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC DEVICE

PURPOSE: To provide an electrophotographic device having a means capable of safely executing the exchanging work of a photoreceptor drum. CONSTITUTION: This electrophotographic device is equipped with the photoreceptor drum 1, a bearing fixing member 5 provided with a bearing 5a rotatably holding the drum 1, a developing unit 2 arranged proximately to the drum 1, a developing device elevating and lowering means for retreating the unit 2 from the drum 1 and a bearing fixing member shielding means 30 for changing the attitude of the fixing member 5 from the shielded attitute to the exposed attitude synchronously with the retreating operation of the unit 2. Then, the interlocking of the fixing member 5 is released by executing prestage processing that the unit 2 is retreated from the drum 1 so that poststage processing that the drum 1 is taken out from a device frame 50 can be executed.
