FIRE-RESISTANT STRUCTURE FOR CURTAIN WALL

PURPOSE: To obtain lightweight, easily installable fire-resistant panels by a method wherein a fire-resistant panel wall made up by applying a coating material generating foamed noncombustible layer on heating to a metal plate is installed to the inside of a wall structure between floor slabs on the upper and the lower stories. CONSTITUTION: A fire-resistant panel wall 30 made up by applying a viscous fluid coating material that is foamed on occasion of a fire and produces noncombustible carbide to one side or both sides of a metal base made of stainless steel or aluminum is stuck to the inside of a wall structure 20. An inter-story closing part 32 is formed to the fire-resistant panel wall 30, and a gap between the slab 10 and the wall 20 is closed therewith. On occasion of a fire, the coating layer of the fire-resistant panel wall 30 is foamed and noncombustible carbide is produced, and spread of fire is prevented therewith. Thereby, a wall that is excellent in fireproofness and simply installable can be obtained easily.
