SOLUTION: This elongated gap press is such one that portions of support elements 5, 6 and/or the support elements 5, 6 that form the support surfaces 9, 10 of at least one of pressing elements 1, 2 are displaceable in or against the direction of rotation of the corresponding jacket elements 7, 8.
