DOOR LOCKING DEVICE OF AUTOMATIC VENDING MACHINE

PURPOSE: To provide a door locking device of the automatic vending machine with high crimes preventiveness which displays superior effects on reliability, handling, energy saving. CONSTITUTION: A slider type door locking mechanism 3 with a key which locks and unlocks a door 2 through the operation of the key 3f and a handle 3c is equipped additionally with an abnormality detection sensor 8 which detects vibration or a shock applied artificially to a cabinet from outside and an emergency automatic locking mechanism 4 which operates in response to the detection signal of the sensor 8 and automatically locks the slider 3b of the door locking mechanism to a lock position. The automatic locking mechanism 4 consists of a lock pin 5 which enters and exits from a lock pin insertion hole 3g bored in the slider 3b and a driving mechanism 6 which normally holds the lock pin 5 at a release position in a power-OFF state, and performs ON/OFF operation in case of abnormality detection to drive the lock pin 5 forward from the release position to the lock position and performs ON/OFF operation again with a reset signal to drive the lock pin 5 backward to the release position.
