PRODUCTION OF DISK-SHAPED COLOR HOLOGRAM

PURPOSE: To produce a disk-shaped color hologram with which hologram images reconstructed by white light having the same colors as the colors of a subject are observable even if an eye height position is slightly changed. CONSTITUTION: Original pictures consisting of a series of color positive films are obtd. by photographing the color photographs of the subject at every time the subject placed on a turn table is rotated at a prescribed angle each. Next, the original picture film 116 is successively irradiated with laser beams from three colors of laser beam sources 104a to c, by which the master holograms consisting of respectively annular stereograms are synthesized. These three master holograms are then successively irradiated with the laser beams of the corresponding color beams and the disk-shaped color Lippmann hologram is obtd. in accordance with the resulted object beams.
