RICE COOKER

PURPOSE: To provide a rice cooker preferably capable of either heating gruel for a long time or cooking in a short time. CONSTITUTION: This rice cooker is equipped with a pan 1, a heating means 2 to heat the pan 1, a temperature detecting means 3 to detect the temperature of the pan 1, a timing means 4 to count the time after beginning cooking, and a control means 5 to control the heating means 2. The control means 5 controls the power to heat to a constant power P0 until the temperature detecting means 3 detects the bottom temperature of the pan 1 has reached a designated temperature, afterward a constant power P1 until a designated time counted by the timing means 4, and afterward a constant power P2 (P0 >P1 >P2 ).
