Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: To facilitate fuel exchange, reducing the space in reactor building and improve aseismatic property by placing a refueling machine for exchanging fuel in a pressure tube assembly above the reactor body and exchanging the fuel in the pressure tube assembly from the top of the reactor. CONSTITUTION: A reactor body 2 locates in the center of a reactor building 1 and has a calandria tank 6 of cylindrical vessel having a multitude of holes and a pressure tube assembly 3 placed by penetrating the hole of this tank 6. In the tank 6, moderator heavy water is filled, and in each pressure tube assembly 3, a fuel assembly 4 is loaded and the inside is formed so as to pass coolant light water. In refueling time, a refueling machine 5 placed on a dolly below the reactor is coupled to the lower part of the pressure tube assembly 3 and refueling is conducted after sealing the coolant.
