POWER WINDOW DEVICE FOR CAR

PURPOSE: To detect insertion of a foreign matter accurately without a malfunction even at the time of the change in external environment and at the time of the first lifting operation of window glass. CONSTITUTION: The current value of a motor 100 lifting and lowering window glass is measured by a current-value detecting section 104, and an insertion decision value is set on the basis of the result of the decision of a lifting- lowering operation discriminating section 13 and the current value detected by the current-value detecting section 104 by a decision-value setting section 105. When the window glass is brought to the state of lowering operation, the detected current value is corrected and assumed load, in which the state of lifting operation is supposed, is obtained concretely, and the assumed load is set as a new insertion decision value, and stored in a storage section 106. The current value of the motor 100 measured when the window glass is brought to the state of lifting operation is compared with the insertion decision value by a comparison section 107, a decision section 108 output a stop or lowering command to a motor-driving control section 102 on the basis of the result of the comparison, and the window glass is stopped or lowered.
