Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To prevent the reduction of image reading sensitivity and also to obtain an imaging plate of high image resolution by picking up an image with high phosphor cell density per unit area in a state where a sheet is not stretched out at the time of picking up the image, and reading the image in a state where the sheet is stretched out at the time of reading the image. CONSTITUTION:The sheet is used in a contracted state at the time of picking up the X-ray image, and the X-rays modulated by image information are transmitted through surface protective layers C1, C2 and C3..., and stimulable phosphor cells P1, P2 and P3... are irradiated with the X-rays, then, energies are stored in respective phosphors in accordance with the irradiation quantity of X-rays. Then, in the case of reading the image from the sheet where the X-ray image is stored in such a way, the image is read in a state where the stretch sheet B is stretched out in longitudinal and horizontal directions. A laser beam is cut off when two or more adjacent phosphors are simultaneously irradiated. By having such a way, one phosphor cell is surely irradiated wit the laser beam at each time, so that the resolution is improved. |
