Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To obtain the subject therapeutic agent containing crude drugs of Morindae radix, Arecae semen or their extracts as active ingredients, almost free from side effect, and effective to a contact-type dermatitis caused by picric chloride and a delayed-type allergy. CONSTITUTION: This therapeutic agent for dermatitis comprises extracts as active ingredients, obtained e.g. by adding water to crude drugs of Morindae radix (a kind of crude drugs obtained by drying the roots of a plant Morinda officinalis How of Rubiaceae family) and Arecae semen (a kind of crude drugs obtained by drying the seeds of a plant Areca catechu L. of Palmae family), boiling for 120min to extract their components, immediately thereafter filtering the extracts with a filtering paper, centrifuging the filtrate, and lyophilizing the obtained supernatant.
