Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To provide a wheel detaching and attaching device in which a wheel can be precisely centered in a spindle to smoothly detach and attach the tire. CONSTITUTION: This device has a truck 4 capable of self-traveling; a lateral position regulating frame 19 provided on the track so as to be laterally movable; a longitudinal position regulating frame 21 having a vertical frame part 32 and provided on the lateral position regulating frame 19 in such as a manner as to be longitudinally movable; and a vertical position regulator 22 provided on the vertical frame part 32 in such a manner as to be vertically movable. The vertical position regulating body 22 has a spindle 7 for spirally advancing and retreating a wheel mounting nut. The lateral position regulating frame 19 has a wheel placing member 20 vertically driven and brought into contact with the outer circumferential surface of the tire 2 of a wheel 3 to support the wheel 3.
