CONSTITUTION: In a method, a water purifying use filter medium which is produced by planting aquatic plants in a molded article comprising inorganic fibers or organic fibers and a filter medium is packed in a net like body, and the package is immersed in a river etc. Aerobic microorganisms propagate on the surface of the filter medium, while anaerobic microorganisms propagate inside the filter medium to purify water.
