Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: To carry out combustion treatment without remarkably diluting ammoniac gas evolved by thermal hydrolysis of wastewater containing cyanide ion and to lower the concentration of NOx produced as a byproduct. CONSTITUTION: After being led to pass a back fire preventive apparatus, ammoniac gas evolved by thermal hydrolysis of wastewater containing cyanide ion is made to flow in a combustion furnace to mix the ammoniac gas with air and burn the gas and at the same time a cooling liquid is sprayed into the combustion furnace so as to keep the combustion temperature within 700-900 deg.C.
