Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: To prevent a filter element molded by sintering a resin from generating cracking on a fixed part and a surrounding fluted part caused by its own wt. in a gas filter. CONSTITUTION: A filter element 10 is hanged by providing a frame 11 on the upper end part of the filter element 10 molded into a flat bellows-like shape with a hollow cross-section and fixing its both end parts on the upper top board 5 of a casing with clamping bolts and a holding part is provided on the lower end part of the filter element 10 and is held by placing it on an elastic holding mechanism 19. Therefore, as there exists no possibility of applying directly the own wt. of the filter element 10 on the surrounding of the clamping bolts and the fluted part, stress is prevented from being concentrated on these parts and cracking is surely prevented from being generated.
