Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To perfectly remove slugs attached to a punch by magnetism, etc., by connecting a through-hole sucking the slugs attached to the punch to an exhauster, and spouting out compressed air from the exhauster. CONSTITUTION: A metal plate 9 is punched by punch 10 and die 12, and slugs 6 are dropped in a through-hole 4. Compressed air 13 is spouted out in an exhauster 2 from a nozzle 3a. A negative pressure is generated in a sucking pipe 1, and the slugs 6 are sucked from a sucking port 15. The slugs 6 are discharged from a discharge port 7 through through-holes 4 and 5, and are received in a slug receiving box 25. Therefore, since the slugs 6 are always and forcedly sucked, even if the punch 10 and the die 12 become magnetized or oil, etc., is attached to them, the slugs 6 can be perfectly removed.
