Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To provide a microwave oven which can provide excellent microwave transmission condition corresponding to the weight and shape of an object for heating. CONSTITUTION: When an object S for heating is put on a turn table 1b of a heating chamber 1 and a heating start instruction is given, a weight detector 3 and a shape detector 5 detect the weight and the height of the object S for heating and send respective signals to a control part 4. Based on the detected signals, the control part 4 provides a stepping motor M2 with angle information of the angle to rotate a radiating antenna 62 and a second gear 8 is so rotated as to rotate a first gear 61 by the instructed angle. Due to the rotation of the second gear 8. the radiating antenna 62 attached to the first gear 61 stops after the antenna rotates by the prescribed angle and heating treatment is started.
