LAYING DEVICE FOR FILAMENTARY BODY

PURPOSE: To provide a novel filamentary body laying device capable of greatly extending the force feeding distance of a filamentary body, such as optical fiber cable, with simple operations and simple constitution. CONSTITUTION: Fluid compressed to a pressure above the atm. pressure is supplied into a pipe 2 and the filamentary body 1 is laid by a driving wheel 4b and a feed head body 4a. This driving wheel 4b is driven by a fluid type motor. The fluid supplied into the pipe 2 is of a system separate from the fluid supplied to the driving wheel 4b. The fluid type motor is preferably constituted integrally within the feed head body 4a in the constitution described above.
