Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To produce a fishing line, designed to enable the electric and accurate measurement of the length of the fishing line delivered from a reel and improved so as to enable the maintenance of functions thereof for a long period. CONSTITUTION:This fishing line is obtained by applying a mixture of a solid powder electrically measurable at a prescribed interval in the longitudinal direction of a line body with a binder thereto and using any one of the following (a) to (c) as the binder: (a) a mixture of a methacrylic or an acrylic acid-based polymer with an ethyleneimine derivative at 1:(0.025-0.25) weight ratio, (b) a polyamide resin and (c) a vinylidene chloride-based resin.
